Thermal Barriers

We have the widest range of thermal barriers designed for a variety of furnaces and processes, as well as hostile environments. From a 41mm/1.6" high barrier that can protect for 7 minutes at 600°C/1100°F or a heavyweight that can withstand 800°C/1475°F for 20 hours to barriers that can protect in reheat processes or quenches.

Floating PlateTM & high grade 310 stainless steel give maximum protection with minimum distortion.

4000 Series Thermal Barriers

A balanced ratio of heat sink to insulation thickness provides maximum thermal duration with minimal weight.

CAB Surveyor System - Thermal Barrier and Surveyor Arm

Special system for monitoring Controlled Atmosphere Brazing (CAB) in the aluminum brazing industry. It operates on the principle of monitoring the ambient temperature profile throughout the furnace rather than the product temperature.
