SANTA CRUZ, Calif., — Datapaq, the worldwide leader in temperature profiling, has introduced the latest release of Insight™ software (V7) across its product offerings. This new release adds many unique new features, along with a number of enhancements, all designed to make the task of profiling thermal processes easier and more efficient.
A key part of the Datapaq profiling solution, Insight software is designed specifically to convert raw temperature data into meaningful information that can be used to understand, control and optimize thermal processes. Whether it’s improving the quality of paint cure or increasing the yield on an electronics Reflow line, Datapaq Insight software can help.
Responding to customer feedback, the new Insight V7 software offers new solutions designed by Datapaq to meet the changing needs of its customers. Features/benefits of the new software include:
Report Wizard – The new Report Wizard function takes the operator step-by-step through the process of creating a comprehensive — yet customized profile report, detailing the specific findings of the profile to be communicated to others. A report template can be created to ensure that all subsequent profile reports have exactly the same content (data analysis and process details). Standardizing the complete reporting process enables information to be communicated clearly and effectively.
Save Analysis Parameters – Allows users to save analysis parameters and alarms in a separate file (with an .ANA extension). The saved parameters can then be applied to multiple recipes in the process file, reducing set-up time.
Automatic Filename Generation – Instructs the software to automatically generate a filename for a new paqfile based upon the process or product name, with a tagged date and time stamp. This guarantees that all results files are labeled correctly, regardless of the operator, for quick and accurate file identification.
Edit Tolerance Curve on Main Graph – The Tolerance Curve applied to a particular Paqfile can now be edited directly on the main graph relative to the temperature traces. This increases accuracy and reduces set-up time.
