Thermal Profiling in High Temperature Heat Treatment

In the high temperature metal treatment industries, getting the exact temperature of the product and its environment is critical to the quality of the finished product. Temperature profiling can also help eliminate costly rework or rejects, and maximize product throughput while minimizing costs.

Aluminum Processing

Datapaq temperature profiling systems are successfully used in various types of aluminum processing, such as aluminum log homogenizing and aluminum ingot reheating, to help ensure the correct temperature is achieved and not exceeded. Steel Manufacturing

Built for the steel industry, the Datapaq Furnace Tracker System provides a range of unique solutions to satisfy both primary and secondary steel heat treatment applications. Datapaq designed a ‘phased evaporation’ insulation system to keep the data logger at a stable operating temperature, during furnace temperatures in excess of 1300°C/2372°F and in the following applications:
