Datapaq® SolarPaq temperature profiling system for anti-reflective coating has been designed to monitor the product temperature profile as the photovoltaic (PV) cells pass through the plasma coating process. This system consists of Insight software, Q18 data logger, stainless steel thermal barrier and ultra fine type K thermocouples.
Based on our research with the major equipment manufacturers, this profiling system has been designed to pass through the process chambers and measure the cell temperatures even with the plasma activated. This feature combined with the unique ability to be slotted straight into a unmodified cell carrier, enables temperature profiling to be conducted without disrupting normal production flow.

This newly designed software has been created specifically for use within the PV solar industry and contains many process-specific analysis displays. | Data Logger |
|
The Datapaq Q18 logger features rugged, reliable and accurate data acquisition circuits, clear status indicators and an intelligent battery management system. This custom designed logger and its thermal protection are placed into the cell carrier. This design enables the system to occupy one of the 156mm cell positions, so there is no need to modify the carrier. Using the spacer blocks provided with the barrier, the height above and below the carrier frame can be set to suit the process chamber being profiled.

| Thermal Barriers |

The thermal barrier designed for this system can withstand the harsh thermal and electrical environments within the plasma chamber. Built with a stainless steel outer case and microporous ceramic insulation interior, this barrier can be used time and time again for both process set-up and regular monitoring.

| Thermocouples |
|
Thermocouple probes are an essential part of a SolarPaq system. The ultra fine, mineral insulated Type K thermocouple (diameter 0.5 mm / 0.02 in) included in this system complies with BSEN 60584.2 Class 1.
